Root Canals in Lafayette, IN

Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or imflammed. The root canal process removes the infected or imflammed nerve, cleans and medicates the inside of the tooth, and then fills and seals the inside of the tooth.

Following root canal therapy a crown is placed over the tooth to protect it from cracking and fracturing. This is an essential part of the root canal process as root canal treated teeth are especially prone to fracturing.
